National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Lt-Gen Mohammad Afzal has said medical equipment will be sent to hospitals identified by the authority within three days.

He said the NDMA has been sending equipment and PPEs to the provinces.

"Ventilators are short in the international market but we're doing all we can to procure more and more," he told journalists.
