26 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, taking the provincial tally to 2,030, according to a spokesperson for the Punjab health department.

A 42-year-old man also died at Lahore's Jinnah Hospital. He had no history of foreign travel or contact with a positive patient and acquired the virus locally, the spokesperson added.
