The Balochistan government has extended a province-wide lockdown which was due to end on Tuesday by two weeks until April 21.

The decision was made in view of the "fear of increase in number of Covid-19 cases, which may cause devastating consequences, illness and deaths", an order issued by the provincial home department said.
