In response to questions if UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson — who is hospitalised due to continuing symptoms of the coronavirus — should temporarily step back, Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick said that the premier "remains in charge of the government", Reuters reported.

Jenrick added that he expects Johnson to return to Number 10, Downing Street shortly.
