Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that people who have mild symptoms of the coronavirus and have the facility to isolate are being kept in their homes.

Explaining the provincial government's strategy in a video message, he said that people who don't have the facility to isolate at home and might infect other people would be isolated in the government-run centres.

"People who have recovered were not given any special medicine, they simply self-isolated."

He added that the government has established a Rapid Response Team in every district which identifies possible Covid-19 patients, tests people in their homes and then recommends further action.

Shah said the government takes care of any person who comes under its radar [for the virus].
