Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani has issued a notification allowing bakeries to remain open between 8am to 5pm.

The notification also states that:

• All sweet shops will remain closed.
• No home delivery or takeaway from restaurants is allowed.
• All supermarkets and stores should follow social distancing.
• All industries linked to food, pharmacy and related packaging are allowed to operate.
