Federal govt requested to provide PPE to medical staff in Sindh

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in a video conference with the prime minister has requested the federal government to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to medical staff in Sindh.

Shah said the provincial government was running out of PPE which was a necessity for medical professionals working in isolation centres and hospitals to avoid the risk of infection. He added that some of the testing kits provided by the Centre to Sindh were also not working properly.

The prime minister directed Provincial Disaster Management Authority Director General Syed Salman Shah to coordinate with the Sindh government and provide them with PPE and testing kits.
