Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched the Ehsaas Emergency Cash initiative as part of the government's efforts to deal with the problems faced by citizens amid a country-wide lockdown to control the spread of Covid-19.

The Rs144 billion initiative will distribute Rs12,000 to 12 million families across the country.
