Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the provincial health department has been told to increase their testing capacity for detecting Covid-19 cases.

We have assured the department that we will provide them with all the resources they require, he said while addressing the media.

The chief minister added that the provincial government will also notify a committee for providing health professionals with safety kits and personal protective equipment.
