Adviser to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister on information Ajmal Wazir stated that there is no shortage of wheat or flour in the province.

Speaking at a press conference, Wazir said: "The provincial food department currently has 0.18m tonnes of wheat which is enough for us until May 1, 2020. There is no shortage of wheat in the province, we have plenty of stock."

He added that the provincial government will take strict action against profiteers and hoarders taking advantage of the coronavirus outbreak. "We have zero tolerance regarding this," he said.
