Following the directives issued by the Punjab government to curb the spread of the coronavirus, churches in Vehari district remained closed for Sunday mass.

According to one padre, the Christian community has been told to pray at home and to make special prayers for ridding the country of Covid-19, which has infected 1,500 people in Pakistan so far.
