PIA officers announce voluntary pay cuts of up to 20%

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) officers have announced a voluntary reduction in their salaries by up to 20 per cent to support the company as it struggles with Covid-19's impact, according to its spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez.

The move comes after PIA CEO Arshad Malik announced a 20pc cut in his pay. Department chief officers too will accept 20pc less pay, while general managers will cut their pay by 15pc, deputy GMs by 10pc and managers by 8pc.
