Auqaf department has notified a set of instructions regarding the protocol for Friday prayer in Islamabad
People have been asked to
- Make wuzuh at home.
- Wear a mask to the mosque
- Not shake hands with people
- Pray sunnahs at home
- Not enter the mosque until its time to pray
- Bring their own prayer mats
- To not throng in markets
Prayer leaders have also been instructed to keep the khutbah and prayer short.
