The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has observed an around 15 per cent net increase in internet usage since last week.

In a statement shared on Twitter, PTA said the figure was based on information collected from telecom operators.

"The increase has been observed due to increased online activities by educational institutions and businesses and 'work from home' policy adopted by individuals and organisations,"the statement read.
