829 under-trial prisoners (UTP) in Sindh have been released from jails in the province by district courts in the cases of lesser punishment on the directives of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M. Shaikh.
According to a press release issued by the SHC, the step was taken in light of the present scenario regarding the coronavirus.
