Lahore CCPO Zulfiqar Hameed has issued an order prohibiting all public gatherings — including those of religious nature — in Lahore as part of measures to contain the novel coronavirus.

"Police will take action on opening of parks, hotels, restaurants, roads, gyms, snooker clubs and educational institutions," the order read.
