The Islamabad administration has imposed Section 144 (power to issue order absolute at once in urgent cases of nuisance or apprehended danger) of the Code of Criminal Procedure in the federal capital as per the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, SAPM Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan shared.

The order, issued by District Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat, will remain in place for seven days and is effective immediately.
