Zafar Mirza said he had a "good meeting" with the heads of departments (HoDs) of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) along with NDMA representatives.

He said there was personal protective equipment (PPE) for all health workers, at least 70 additional beds for coronavirus patients.

Additionally, Mirza said an emergency management committee has been formed including nurses and paramedics and special training sessions are to be organised.
