Police have arrested five shopkeepers in Karachi's DHA on charges of opening their shops in violation of the Sindh government’s order and registered a case against them.

The provincial government through a notification has imposed a ban on the opening of shops by invoking Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, police officials said.
