According to the spokesperson for the Sindh health department, 51 of Karachi's 87 coronavirus cases were locally transmitted, while the one person that died die to the virus did not have a travel history.

In a tweet, health department spokesperson Meeran Yousuf urged the people to practice social distancing and stay at home as much as possible.
