'Complete chaos': how Karachi's healthcare workers are struggling with COVID-19
With hundreds of people rushing to get tested at hospitals in Karachi, healthcare experts are working in chaotic situations and with a burdened system.
"If we refuse, based on their history, they turn around and get angry and some even get downright abusive," says Dr Shobha Luxmi, an infectious diseases specialist at Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi.
"People are counselled but they don't maintain social distancing," she adds.
