A second patient has died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from the novel coronavirus, KP Health Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra tweeted.

The announcement comes less than two hours after the first COVID-19 death was reported from KP, which was also the first death from the virus in Pakistan.

The latest fatality is a 36-year-old patient from Hangu, who was being treated at Peshawar's Lady Reading Hospital.
