Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari clarified that "no influence" was used by himself or any other PTI leader to allow anyone on Taftan border alleging that some "so-called journos" were "lying based on their personal agendas," without specifying who these journalists were.

"Your feeds & shows would find better use for national coherence on #COVID awareness during this crisis. And if you’re still adamant [...] don’t worry your divisiveness won’t deter me or the [government] in fighting this global crisis," he said in a subsequent tweet.
