About 11 new people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Sindh, provincial Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said.

He said that 23 people had been tested by the Aga Khan Hospital, out of which 11 had tested positive and 12 were negative.

All patients had arrived in Sukkur from Taftaan and are now being kept in isolation, Spokesperson for the Sindh government Barrister Murtaza Wahab said.

The total number of positive cases in Sindh is now 88.
