Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said that protection and well-being of Pakistanis is the primary responsibility of the government.

She said that an important meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) is being held today under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The provincial chief ministers, as well as civil and military leadership, will also participate in the meeting.
