As part of its "proactive approach" to prevent COVID19 from spreading, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided that Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches that are to be played in Karachi will be held in an empty stadium. The decision has been taken on Sindh government's advice, PCB said in a statement.
All unused tickets will be refunded.
Spectators have been allowed in today's match, that is being played between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings. The PCB has issued a set of preventive measures that can be adopted by the players and the general public to safeguard themselves from the virus.
Team members have been advised against shaking hands.
Fans have been urged not to approach players, ask for autographs or pictures.
