Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza has said that the world can still can still change the course of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a series of tweets after the World Health Organisation declared coronavirus a pandemic, Mirza said that the measure has been taken to "highlight the importance for countries to strengthen their preparation and response for imminent community spread".
