Pakistan reported its eighth coronavirus case after a resident of Karachi tested positive for the virus, said Meeran Yousuf, the media coordinator to the Sindh health minister.

The 53-year-old man had traveled to Syria via Doha, Yousuf said. She added that the patient's contacts have been quarantined. So far, five people have been diagnosed with COVID19 in Sindh, out of whom one has made a full recovery.
