China is imposing a strict ban over farming and consumption of wild animals, following the novel coronavirus outbreak — which is believed to have been originated in a wet market in Wuhan city — CNN has reported.

The Chinese government has imposed a temporary ban on farming and consumption of exotic wildlife — which is highly popular in China — last month and it is expected that it would be turned into a law later this year.
