Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza dismissed rumours that the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan were being understated because the Pakistan Super League was underway.

Dr Mirza said that such reports were "100 per cent untrue".

"In fact, they are 200pc untrue."
