KARACHI, Aug 24: Pakistan number two Muhammad Yousuf qualified for the quarterfinal of Seniors World snooker championship in Manama (Bahrain) by beating John Hudson of Australia 4-3, according to a message received on Wednesday.

Yousuf made three breaks of 41, 40 and 48 in the second, third and fourth frame in his 24-59, 84-21, 106-0, 63-69, 52-66, 64-35, 56-26 victory.

In the quarterfinal, the 1994 world champion Yousuf will meet Walid Hatim of Kuwait.

Favourite Geet Sethi also joined Yousuf in last eight stage of the competition beating Cheung Sing 4-1.—APP
