TOBA TEK SINGH, Aug 23: The candidates are reportedly purchasing votes. It is learnt that the candidates are in the hunt of eligible voters. They offered them Rs500 to Rs1,000 for each vote after taking oath on the Holy Quran.

Interestingly, some of the candidates used counterfeit currency notes. Some others who feared that the voters were bargaining simultaneously with other candidates, ‘impounded’ their identity cards after payment of cash.
