HYDERABAD, Aug 23: The vice-chancellor of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Professor Jan Mohammad Memon has said that the lives of victims of road accidents can be saved with immediate medical care.
He was speaking at the inaugural session of a two-day Primary Trauma Course in Jamshoro.
The departments of neurosurgery and orthopaedics organized the course.
The vice-chancellor called upon the authorities concerned to improve the lighting system on the main roads and urged the highway police, general public and media to work together to minimize the number of accidents.
The chairman of the Sindh Trauma Committee, Prof Rasheed Jumma, was the chief guest.
