FAISALABAD: Robbers injured four people who put up resistance during robbery in Chak 511-GB on Monday night.

Unruly mob succeeded to catch two of the robbers and gave them a sound thrash.

People said a gang of robbers set up a picket and were looting people when four people put up resistance to avoid being robbed.

They said one robber opened fire which hit Saleem in his abdomen and Nawaz in his leg. Similarly, another robber attacked Ghulam Abbas and Imdad Ali with a dagger.

All injured where shifted to the hospital.

The police said the robbers managed to escape from the scene when people chased them and succeeded to net two of them (robbers).

People gave them a sound thrash and they were badly injured when police moved them for the treatment and interrogation.
