GILGIT, Aug 19: The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) has started a programme to disseminate education in Northern Areas and is paying special attention to promotion female education and their welfare.

Sources disclosed here on Friday that Aga Khan Education Service-Pakistan and Aga Khan Rural Support Programme have initiated the adult literacy programme in collaboration with National Commission for Human Resource Development.

They said both organisations have targeted women from 15 years to 40 years.—APP
