KARACHI, Aug 19: The President of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Sindh, Zubair Khan, on Friday criticized the ruling coalition for alleged manipulation in the local body polls.
In a meeting at the PTI Secretariat he alleged that the government and its coalition partners took control of various polling stations in Karachi and filled ballot boxes with bogus votes for their candidates.
He said Thursday’s conduct exposed the Election Commission’s claim of holding free, fair and transparent elections.—PPI
