KARACHI: CDs, DVDs seized

KARACHI, Aug 19: The staff of the Collectorate of Customs (Preventive) posted at the Jinnah international Airport seized a large number of CDs/DVDs, which were being smuggled into the country, said a press release on Friday.

It said the Customs personnel were on high alert after it received credible information that a huge quantity of CDs/DVDs was going to be smuggled through various flights.

They seized 550, 1,750 and 2,000 numbers of CDs/DVDs from Sultan Ahmed, Sahibzada Khalid Dar and Malik Akhtar Ali respectively, who had arrived on various flights. Further investigation is underway, it added.
