QUETTA: Provincial emir of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and Member of the National Assembly Maulana Abdul Wasey has said his party is not making efforts to oust the Balochistan government even though the latter has failed to deliver.
Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said that the central leadership of the JUI-F had been informed about the Balochistan government’s performance and the situation prevailing in the province.
He termed the impression wrong about his meeting with Provincial Minister Sardar Saleh Bhootani and said: “Sardar Bhootani is an old friend and my neighbour and I met him just to inquire after his well-being.”
Maulana Wasey said as far as performance of the provincial government was concerned the changes the chief minister was making in the ministries indicated wrongdoing.
He said the statement of the Balochistan Assembly speaker about the government and party was a serious issue.
While referring to JUI-F’s Azadi march, he said 2020 would be the year of elections in the country. “Incumbent government is undemocratic, unconstitutional and unsuccessful. The final results of Azadi march would come out soon,” he said.
“We reiterate our demand of holding free and fair fresh elections in the country.”
The JUI-F leader said the only solution of problems facing the country was ending the present government because the entire system was unconstitutional and undemocratic under its supervision.
