SBP course on Islamic banking

KARACHI, Aug 16: The State Bank will launch a certificate course in Islamic banking next month. The first course will be held from September 12-28 at the Karachi campus of NIBAF of the National Institute of Banking and Finance. The course will be offered to personnel of existing Islamic banks and individual Islamic branches of commercial banks, according to a State Bank press release.

The training will be imparted through lectures, case studies, workshops, etc., by practising experts of Islamic finance and Shariah scholars and advisers for Islamic banks and other local and foreign institutions.
