Robbers strike at four places
RAWALPINDI: Four robberies were committed in different parts of the city on Thursday.
Khalil Shah, a resident of new Katarian, complained to New Town police that he was returning home when two motorcycle riders held him on gunpoint and snatched Rs150,000 from him.
The same police was approached by Mohammad Usman with a complaint that he was going to a nearby market on a motorcycle when two bike riders snatched his mobile phone and took away his motorcycle near New Katarian.
Mohammad Rizwan, who owns a cell phone shop in Ammarpura Mohalla, was held at gunpoint by two armed men.
The robbers took away Rs65,000 and three cell phones.
Two robbers raided a bakery at Farooq-i-Azam Road in Sadiqabad and looted Rs50,000 and two cellphones.
