NOWSHERA: A woman and her granddaughter died when roof of a room in their house caved-in due to rain at Zara Mena area here on Friday.

Rescue sources said that wife, mother and daughter of Sabir Ali were buried alive when roof of a room collapsed due to rain.

The local residents and Rescue 1122 volunteers retrieved the bodies of the mother and daughter of Sabir, and rescued his wife alive.

She was shifted to the district headquarters hospital, Nowshera, in critical condition.
