PESHAWAR, Aug 7: The Peshawar International Airport was reopened for flights late on Saturday night after damaged portions of the runway were repaired, officials said.
An official said here on Sunday that portions of the runway had been repaired late in the night and several incoming domestic and international flights had landed safely.
The airport remained closed for aviation activities for more than 24 hours after a fighter jet made a crash-landing on Friday damaging the runway.
