Jungle Cruise brings back Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt explore the Amazon in the new trailer for Disney’s upcoming action-adventure film, Jungle Cruise.

The clip was released recently and featured Blunt as a determined explorer who wishes to find a legendary tree hidden in the Amazon which possesses healing powers.

Blunt enlists the help of a riverboat captain portrayed by Johnson to help take her on the voyage. The duo encounter raging waters and mythical enemies while on their journey.

“If you believe in legends, you should believe in curses too,” Johnson says to Blunt. “You’re going to beg me to turn back.”

Jungle Cruise, inspired by the classic Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme park ride of the same name, is set to arrive in theatres on July 24, 2020.


Ariana Grande posts Charlie’s Angels track list

Ariana Grande released the track list for the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack where the singer will be featured on five songs.

Grande will appear on “Don’t Call Me Angel” alongside Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey, “Bad To You” featuring Nicki Minaj and Normani, “Nobody” with Chaka Khan, “How I Look On You” and “Got Her Own” with Victoria Monet.

The soundtrack is set to be released on November 1 while the Charlie’s Angels film starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska will hit theatres on November 15.


Robert Downey Jr. in Dolittle

Universal Pictures released its first trailer for Dolittle, its family movie starring Robert Downey Jr. as a doctor with the ability to speak with animals.

The two-minute preview shows Iron Man and Avengers alum Downey as the happy-seeming title character, travelling the world and communicating with creatures great and small.

The live action-cartoon hybrid was inspired by the 1920s children’s books by Hugh Lofting, and co-stars Antonio Banderas, Jim Broadbent and Michael Sheen.

Lending their voices to animated animal characters in the movie are Tom Holland, Emma Thompson, Ralph Fiennes, Octavia Spencer, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cena, Rami Malek, Marion Cotillard, Craig Robinson and Carmen Ejogo.

Written and directed by Stephen Gaghan, Dolittle is set for theatrical release on January 17.
