SHIKARPUR, Aug 2: People of Shikarpur took out a procession and staged demonstrations outside two complaint centres and offices of executive engineer and SDOs of the Hesco to protest against unscheduled load-shedding and interruption in power supply here late on Monday night.

Power consumers took out procession from different localities of the city who gathered outside the offices of executive engineer and SDOs of Hesco.

They raised slogans against Hesco officials and refuted the allegations of damaging furniture and other goods of Hesco office.

The protesters informed newsmen that the Hesco officers were implicating notables in false cases of damaging Hesco property.

SDO Hesco operation sub-division-II, Gulsher Shar said that protesters damaged Hesco property and tortured Hesco employees although they were informed about technical faults in power supply.

He said that Hesco was trying to lodge an FIR against the protesters. No FIR was lodged till the filing of the report.
