QUETTA, July 27: Lahore became champions of the inaugural regional triangular women’s cricket series with a 33-run defeat of Karachi in the final on Wednesday. Lahore made 167 for four in their allotted 30 overs thanks to a superb innings of 80 by Sana Javed, who slammed 12 boundaries. Karachi, in reply, managed 133 for eight in their 30 overs. Arman remained the top-scorer with 36 while Kanwal hit 19. Sana Javed was declared Woman-of-the-Series as well as Woman-of-the-Final.
