MIANWALI, July 27: A large number of local-body election candidates filed their nomination papers on the last day for the purpose on Wednesday. The sessions courts witnessed a great rush of people. All returning officers, except Civil Judge Shabir Husain of Piplan, were at the district headquarters and the candidates for 49 out of the 56 union councils turned up there. — Correspondent
