KARACHI: Youths urged to frustrate conspiracies

KARACHI, July 24: Former city nazim Niamatullah Khan on Sunday said that the ‘forces of evil’ were afraid of the Islamic ideological identity of Pakistan and they wanted to make the country secular.

Speaking at a three-day annual training gathering of the Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) here, he said Karachi was the target of anti-Pakistan forces, because they knew that this city provided 67 per cent revenue to the country and 60 per cent industries were also situated here. He hoped that patriotic citizens would foil conspiracies of the anti-Pakistan forces.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Amir Dr Merajul Huda alleged that the ruling class was taking dictation from the USA, and it was even ready to take steps against religious schools.

IJT Pakistan Nazim Zubair Ahmed Gondal said that the Pakistani youth would foil every conspiracy of the enemies.

He said that the students of Karachi were fully committed to reject all the systems for the Islamic one.—PPI
