BDA ex-chief ‘front man’ held

QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Balochistan, on Saturday arrested the alleged front man of a former chairman of the Balochistan Development Authority (BDA).

According to NAB officials, Khadim Hussain was working as a front man of Anwar Sadat who is already facing cases of corruption.

A team of NAB conducted a raid in Khuzdar and arrested Khadim Hussain. He was later shifted to Quetta for investigation.

A NAB official claimed that Khadim Hussain owned properties worth millions of rupees on behalf of Anwar Sadat and during an investigation NAB found a transaction of Rs225 million made through the former’s account.

Meanwhile, the anti-corruption watchdog got a four-day physical remand of accused Khadim Hussain.
