HYDERABAD, Jan 13: The chairman, Jeay Sindh Mahaz (Z), Syed Zain Shah has said that President Gen Pervez Musharraf in his address to the nation had only accepted the half truth and a lasting peace in the region could not be restored by accepting half truths.

He added that the rulers would have to accept the whole truth by acknowledging that the existence of nation purely on religious basis always led to fundamentalism.

He was talking to JSM workers in Jamshoro in connection with the birth anniversary of late G.M. Syed to be held at Sann on Jan 15.

Zain Shah recalled the philosophy propounded by late G.M. Syed at the Vienna Peace Conference 50 years ago that politics and religions were two different things and if they were merged together, the regional peace would be destroyed.
