Science students shine in Sargodha

SARGODHA, July 15: The overall first three positions were captured by science students in the secondary school examinations, 2005. As many as 62,436 students appeared in the examination out of whom 28,192 were declared successful showing a pass percentage of 45.15. Muhammad Attique Aalam Khan (Roll No 32768) of Progressive Public School, Sargodha, stood first with 783 marks, while the second position was shared by Shahid Iqbal (21000) and Muhammad Ali (21079) of the Government Model High School, Bhakkar, by securing 776 marks each. Hasan Adil (27362) of the Government Central Model School, Mianwali, clinched the third position by obtaining 773 marks.

SCIENCE GROUP (Girls): The first position was shared by Aliza Hamdani (17187) of the District Public School and College, Khushab, and Aysha Naseem (18358) of Dar-i-Arqam Girls Model High School, Sargodha, with 761 marks each. Fatima Anjum (18366) of Dar-i-Arqam Girls Model School, Sargodha, secured the second position with 760 marks and Amina Masood (19392) of the same school got the third position with 757 marks.

GENERAL (Boys): Muhammad Ilyas (59361) of the Government Model High School, Bhakkar, captured the first position by getting 676 marks, Muhammad Ramzan (59859) of the Government High School, Karari Kot, Bhakkar district, and Muhammad Kaleemullah (60337) of the Government High School, Shada, Bhakkar, bagged second and third positions with 674 and 661 marks, respectively.

GENERAL (Girls): Farzana Shaheen (56420) of the Government National Girls High School, PAF Mushaf Base, Sargodha, stood first with 694 marks, Shahnaz Bibi (51112) of the Government Girls High School, Diliwali, (Mianwali), clinched the second position by bagging 685 marks and Bushra Yaqoob (58417) of the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Chak No 127-SB, Sargodha, captured the third position by obtaining 680 marks.
